Yesterday, I visited with my best friend, “Mt.Fuji Museum Special Exhibition”!! Sadly, Mt. Fuji was hiding behind the thick clouds, but I was so moved by her/his magnificence. This exhibition was about the close relationship between the people (esp. in the Edo period) and the silkworm-raising industry(sericulture)!!! There I found the legend(info) that tells clearly and explicitly that Princess Kaguya was the incarnation of Golden Princess ..WOW (, who was in Hoshifuku Temple, Ibaraki prefecture) after becoming cocoon to overcome mother-in-law’s bullying and became Mt.Tsukuba’s Goddess. After that, she FLEW UP to Mt. Fuji to become Princess KAGUYA!! and then Princess KONO!! BIG WOW!!, and she protected the silkworm-raising industry around Mt. Fuji!!! In short, this legend tells, Golden Princess in Ibaraki=Princess Kaguya=Princess KONO!! It was too mindblowing to me. We found some other records that prove that around Mt. Fuji, the silkworm-raising industry flourished for a long time, especially in the Edo period. This matches the story of Utsu(=Golden Princess), who was washed ashore at Sharihama, in Ibaraki, and taught the people around the way of silkworm-raising to make silk and clothings.
Thanks to Elena, we now know that Utsu is the spaceship captain that landed into Mt. Fuji, a long time ago, to help us!! And this legend in Japan says that Utsu and Kono are almost like one and the same. According to the legends, they might be so close like twins!! It was so interesting, mindblowing, and heartwarming for me. I’m so thankful for my friend, because she found this museum, and surprisingly, this special exhibition was about to end on 1/20. This was a huge chance to encounter this great INFO!!
