By the way, famously, Japanese Tenno was also called Sumera-no Mikoto, which strongly suggests Sumer Civilization, and seems to mean Sumera no Mikoto=” king of Samaria” in Hebrew. We are always surprised to see that a great number of Japanese words have the same pronunciation as those of Hebrew… According to Mr. Ichikawa, eons of time ago, when we did not have any device like a shrine, ancient Japanese people might have made some facility ON THE TOP area of the MOUNTAINs, to welcome the SUN, or show some gratitude to the grace of the creator god/nature.. making use of giant stones, streams, and woods and a flat spot(field) for everyone to gather and joy. .and this “mountaintop spot” might be the “prototype of the shrine”. This analysis by Mr.Ichikawa was so mindblowing to me!! The mountaintop device changed into ⇒ modern Shrine Structure! (wow!) Old wisdom is still used nowadays??? We have the main shrine in the rear, and at the front, we have some flat space to perform some mini-ritual and look over the mini-slope/main image or another hall in the rear… Still more, allotments of direction stones/ direction to send our prayer/consciousness is so important!!! By using these facilities on mountaintops as shrines, they(ancient Japanese) might have been communicating with other mountains or entities…making use of their power of prayer/consciousness….??? The picture below is Mt.Hachiman-top’s-contour line which functioned as a shrine..(the prototype of the shrine)
