I believe “Turandot” bridges the East and the West. In Japan, we have similar stories for the Princess’ groom selection like the story of Princess Kaguya. After seeing Elena’s post about it, I listened to that well-known, impressive song

many times..it is full of love/compassion. Wise Portia in “Merchant in Venice” and Princess Kaguya in Japan are so very similar. The time has come to bridge cultures in the whole (space) world!! Shakespeare/Neville in his later years was very much into opera/songs and planned to write new types of plays, which sadly wasn’t attained because of his disease, according to Brenda.
